💨 Abstract

Nearly two hours ago, a Delta Air Lines Boeing 737 from Mexico was about to take off when it suddenly found a regional Aeroméxico plane landing just ahead. Due to pilots' quick actions, a collision was avoided. The Delta flight, delayed by three hours, finally departed safely. Authorities, including the FAA, are investigating. Mexico's aviation safety rating was downgraded in 2021 but restored in 2023.
