💨 Abstract
Families of Israeli hostages in Gaza are calling for a national strike on Sunday to protest the government's decision to expand the war and take control of Gaza. The effort is backed by organizations representing families of fallen soldiers and has support from various businesses and citizens. The largest labor union, Histadrut, has yet to join but will meet with the families. Opposition leaders have endorsed the strike, while the government defends the escalation.
