Rodrigo Paz Pereira of the Christian Democratic Party and Jorge “Tuto” Quiroga of Liberty and Democracy will face off in a runoff election for the presidency of Bolivia on October 19. Both have now secured their positions. Initial results from the first round, announced by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal, show the need for a second vote.
