💨 Abstract

After winning the election in Chile, President-elect José Antonio Kast visited Buenos Aires to meet with Argentine President Javier Milei. This visit marked the beginning of a new phase in bilateral relations and the consolidation of a regional trend of right-wing leaders gaining influence in Latin America. Both leaders agreed on a "roadmap" for joint work, focusing on regional security, combating transnational crime, promoting trade, and economic cooperation. Milei will attend Kast's inauguration on March 11.
