Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams, 30, announced his retirement from the NFL on July 17, 2025, just before training camp began. Williams had recently signed a $6 million, one-year contract to return to the Chargers. Despite the massive deal, he decided to step away from the sport after being placed on the physically unable to perform list.
