Prince George’s County Council Chair Edward Burroughs has launched a $5 million assistance program for District 8 seniors aged 65 and older. The fund, sourced from MGM National Harbor, covers grass cutting, mortgage and rental assistance, utility bills, and property taxes. It will also provide educational workshops and recreational activities, aiming to help 3,000 seniors.
