💨 Abstract

As the United Nations marks its 80th anniversary, it faces significant challenges. Reduced funding and internal reforms have weakened its global influence. The UN's Security Council is unable to resolve major conflicts in Ukraine, Gaza, and ongoing territorial conflicts, leaving it sidelined as global tensions rise. Founded to prevent global wars, the UN has succeeded in that mission but struggles with ongoing regional conflicts and reduced aid from major donors like the United States. Its relevance and future are now under serious question.
