💨 Abstract
In August 2025, U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and NATO leaders after his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska. No agreement to end Russia's war in Ukraine was reached. Putin claimed an "understanding" while Trump said "there’s no deal until there’s a deal." Trump suggested Zelenskyy and European nations might finalize any progress.
