💨 Abstract
Pakistan has called on global social media companies to block accounts linked to militant groups like the Pakistani Taliban and Balochistan Liberation Army, accusing them of spreading propaganda and promoting violence. Deputy Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry and Deputy Law Minister Aqeel Malik identified 481 such accounts on platforms like X, Facebook, and Instagram. This request comes amidst a rise in violence attributed to these groups, emboldened by the Taliban's control in nearby Afghanistan.
