💨 Abstract
Houston Astros' slugger Yordan Alvarez is nearing a return to the lineup after nearly a month out with right hand inflammation. Manager Joe Espada reported that Alvarez hit off a pitching machine and is progressing well. Alvarez is set to hit around 50 pitches off minor leaguers on Friday to prepare for a game return. The biggest hurdle has been managing inflammation as he increases his activity.
