In a day-night doubleheader, the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 14-7 in the second game. Alec Burleson led the Cardinals with a homer, three hits, and four RBIs. Aaron Nola had a career-worst outing for the Phillies, allowing nine runs and 12 hits in 3 2/3 innings. The Cardinals overcame an early 5-1 deficit with a total of 19 hits.
