South African rugby player Cornal Hendricks passed away at 37 due to a heart attack. He made 12 test appearances for the Springboks and was a key player in South Africa's sevens team, winning a Commonwealth Games gold medal in 2014. Diagnosed with a heart condition in 2015, he retired briefly before returning in 2019.
