In a Women’s College World Series elimination game, Kedre Luschar's walk in the 10th inning secured Oregon's 6-5 win over Mississippi. Oregon led 5-2 after the fifth inning but Mississippi tied the score in the seventh. Kedre and her sister Kai combined for five hits and three runs. Oregon advances to play on Sunday against the loser of Saturday’s game between Oklahoma and Texas.
