Ryan Fox of New Zealand secured his first PGA Tour title at the Myrtle Beach Classic, winning in a playoff with a 50-foot chip shot. Fox's 66 tied him with Mackenzie Hughes and Harry Higgs at 15-under 269. Fox, previously a three-time European tour winner, now qualifies for the PGA Championship and earns a two-year PGA Tour exemption.
