💨 Abstract
Vanderbilt, with a strong SEC Tournament performance, secured the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. The 64-team field includes a record 13 teams from the SEC. The tournament starts Friday with 16 double-elimination regionals, advancing winners to super regionals and ultimately the College World Series. Vanderbilt, having won eight straight games, plays Wright State in the Nashville Regional. Other national seeds include Texas, Arkansas, and Auburn.
