💨 Abstract
The Pennsylvania Turnpike runs through the Oakmont golf course, home of the 2025 U.S. Open, but it's hardly noticeable from the ground. The elevated course makes the road mostly invisible and inaudible. It divides the course, with holes 2-8 on one side and the rest on the other. Fans and players rarely notice it, except near two footbridges that can cause crowding.
