💨 Abstract
The Chicago Blackhawks traded for forward Andre Burakovsky from the Seattle Kraken, sending Joe Veleno in return. Burakovsky, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, brings size and scoring ability, while Seattle gains salary cap flexibility. Additionally, Chicago placed defenseman T.J. Brodie on waivers to buy out his contract. Burakovsky had 10 goals and 27 assists last season, while Veleno had 8 goals and 9 assists.
