Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff has sustained a bruised right elbow after being hit by a 108 mph line drive during a rehab assignment. this recent event adds to the list of injuries that has hampered Woodruff's return after a shoulder injury that required surgery last year. Woodruff had been preparing to return to the majors last month but experienced tendinitis in his right ankle. His previous last outing in the majors was in September 2023.
