Cam Smith, a 22-year-old rookie, made his MLB debut for the Houston Astros, becoming one of the fastest players from draft to majors. Selected 14th overall by the Cubs, Smith played only 32 minor league games before moving up. Known for his disciplined lifestyle, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, Smith arrives at the ballpark six hours before night games to gain an edge.
