Ángel Sepúlveda scored twice as Cruz Azul won the CONCACAF Champions Cup with a 5-0 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps. Sepúlveda led the tournament with nine goals. Cruz Azul, tied with Club America for the most titles, dominated with a 4-0 halftime lead. Ignacio Rivero, Lorenzo Faravelli, and Mateusz Bogusz also scored. The Whitecaps had no shots on goal and were missing key players due to injuries and suspensions.
