💨 Abstract
Texas Rangers rookie Kumar Rocker had a unique start in his game, drinking pickle juice between pitches to manage cramps. Despite the unusual measures paramedics suggest it is impossible to cure a cramp solely by pickle juice in less than a minute. He worked through the fifth inning, keeping a scoreless start, and managed to stay in the game. The Rangers led 2-0 when Rocker was replaced in the sixth.
