💨 Abstract
The Chicago White Sox are benching Luis Robert Jr. for two days to work on his batting adjustments without the pressure of performing. The 27-year-old has struggled recently, hitting just .177 this season. Manager Will Venable said Robert is physically fine but needs time to fine-tune his swing. Meanwhile, the team placed pitcher Jonathan Cannon on the injured list and recalled Caleb Freeman from Triple-A.
