💨 Abstract
Sonny Gray threw a nearly perfect game for the St. Louis Cardinals, allowing just one hit and striking out 11 while pitching a complete game shutout against the Cleveland Guardians. This marked his first complete game since 2017 and fifth career shutout. Gray needed only 89 pitches, which hasn’t been done since 2021.
