On Friday night, Chris Bassitt and three relievers pitched a shutout as the Toronto Blue Jays defeated the San Francisco Giants 4-0. Bassitt, who had 10 strikeouts, didn't allow any walks, improving the Blue Jays’ home record to 33-16. Justin Verlander, on the other hand, struggled, lasting only 2 2/3 innings and allowing four runs.
