The Kansas City Royals, led by Kris Bubic's five strong innings, defeated the Miami Marlins 7-4 on Sunday. Salvador Perez contributed with a homer and a double, helping the Royals score six runs in the fifth inning. Bobby Witt Jr. and Jonathan India also had significant offensive contributions. Miami's Eury Pérez is scheduled to start the next game against San Diego, while Kansas City's Noah Cameron will face the Chicago Cubs.
