The Boston Red Sox defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-2, with Garrett Crochet striking out 10 in six innings and Jarren Duran hitting a two-run triple. Crochet allowed two solo homers early but recovered to limit the Dodgers to two runs. Aroldis Chapman secured the save, striking out Mookie Betts. Los Angeles' Clayton Kershaw allowed four runs in 4 2/3 innings.
