Nathan Eovaldi pitched five strong innings, allowing three hits as the Texas Rangers defeated the Atlanta Braves 8-3. Eovaldi struck out seven and walked four. The Rangers scored early, with Sam Haggerty and Jonah Heim contributing key hits. Atlanta's Joey Wentz gave up four runs in 4⅓ innings. Michael Harris II homered for the Braves. Texas extended Corey Seagar's on-base streak to 25 games.
