Frank Layden, the former coach who guided the Utah Jazz to their first playoff appearance, passed away at 93. Known for his humor and contributions, Layden coached from 1981-89, winning Coach of the Year in 1984. He also served as the team's president and GM, playing a key role in selecting NBA legends John Stockton and Karl Malone. Layden's impact on the Jazz and Utah basketball is widely recognized.
