💨 Abstract
Ann-Katrin Berger was the hero for Germany as they defeated France in a penalty shootout in the Women's European Championship quarterfinal. Berger saved two penalties and scored one, leading Germany to a 6-5 victory after a 1-1 draw. She made nine saves in total, including a spectacular one-handed stop in extra time. Berger credited her team's effort, noting that they played incredibly hard for 120 minutes.
