💨 Abstract
Joey Jones, the legendary Welsh soccer player, passed away at 70. Known as “Mr Wrexham,” Jones won two European Cups with Liverpool and amassed five major trophies. He also had a notable career with Wrexham, where he started and ended his playing days, and later served in coaching and ambassadorial roles. Liverpool and Wrexham mourned his loss, with Wrexham planning to honor him with a statue.
