In a close game on Tuesday night, the Miami Marlins defeated the San Diego Padres 4-3. Agustín Ramírez and Heriberto Hernández led the Marlins' offense, while starter Edward Cabrera pitched 5 2/3 solid innings. Colin Kovalsky doubled and drove in a run, and Javier Sanoja hit a triple to extend Miami's lead. Despite a shaky ninth inning from closer Ronny Henriquez, the Marlins held on to secure the win.
