💨 Abstract
During a Seattle Mariners game against the Kansas City Royals, center fielder Julio Rodríguez lost track of a fly ball in the late sunset, resulting in a two RBI double by Salvador Perez in the fifth inning. Perez's hit gave the Royals a 5-1 lead and moved him past Alex Gordon for the sixth-most hits in Royals history. The 35-year-old catcher now has 1,644 hits in his 14-season MLB career.
