💨 Abstract
Philadelphia pitcher Aaron Nola, 32, threw 56 pitches on Friday as he recovers from a sprained ankle and fractured rib, which kept him out since May. He aims to start in minor league games next week. His manager, Rob Thomson, wants Nola to build up to 90 pitches gradually. Nola is 105-86 with a 3.78 ERA in 277 starts.
