💨 Abstract
The Kansas City Royals acquired veteran outfielder Randal Grichuk from the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday. The 33-year-old Grichuk has batted .240 with seven home runs this season. The Diamondbacks received right-hander Andrew Hoffmann. Grichuk was pulled from Arizona's game in the fifth inning and could be seen hugging teammates in the dugout. This trade follows the Diamondbacks' recent deal with the Seattle Mariners involving first baseman Josh Naylor.
