💨 Abstract
Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, 28, and his brother, Andre Silva, 25, died in a car accident in Spain on July 2, 2025. The incident occurred near Zamora, with no other vehicles involved. Both brothers were Portuguese football players; Diogo also played for Portugal’s national team, while Andre Silva played for the lower-division club Penafiel. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
