The Chicago White Sox defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 10-1 on Friday night. Luis Robert Jr. and Edgar Quero homered for Chicago, while Michael A. Taylor's double cleared the bases. Andrew Benintendi and Colson Montgomery each had two hits and two RBIs. Jonathan Cannon pitched seven strong innings for the White Sox. The Pirates, who had a strong homestand, have struggled recently, scoring only 17 runs in their last 10 games.
