💨 Abstract
The Chicago White Sox honored late closer Bobby Jenks by adding “45” patches to their uniforms starting Thursday against the Cleveland Guardians. Jenks, a two-time All-Star and 2005 World Series champion, passed away at age 44 in Sintra, Portugal, due to stomach cancer. Known for his pivotal role in the White Sox's 2005 championship, Jenks will be remembered during the remaining 2025 season games.
