💨 Abstract
The 10-kilometer open water swimming event at the World Championships in Singapore was postponed from Tuesday to Wednesday due to poor water quality. This issue follows previous problems at the Paris 2024 Olympics, Tokyo 2021 Olympics, and Rio 2016 Olympics. The women's and men's 10-kilometer races will now be held on the same day, while other open water events are scheduled for later in the week.
