Houston Astros' Yordan Alvarez will begin a rehabilitation assignment at Double-A Corpus Christi, moving closer to a return after a three-month absence due to a fracture in his right hand. Alvarez, who led the team in batting average, home runs, and RBIs last season, has been out since May 3. Manager Joe Espada expressed optimism, stating Alvarez is feeling better and ready to start his rehab.
