The Seattle Mariners defeated the Texas Rangers 6-0. Cal Raleigh hit his 42nd home run, setting a new single-season record for switch-hitting catchers, and Cole Young also homered and pitched six strong innings. Eugenio Suárez returned to the Mariners lineup, driving in the game's first run. Kirby pitched well for Seattle, while Texas starter Kumar Rocker struggled, allowing three runs and six hits.
