Louis Cardinals first baseman Willson Contreras left Tuesday’s game against the Colorado Rockies in the fifth inning due to a right foot contusion. He was hit by a pitch from Kyle Freeland in the fourth inning. Contreras, who leads the team with 16 home runs and 65 RBIs, has been hit by 18 pitches this season, the most in the National League. Nolan Gorman replaced him at first base for the sixth inning.
