In a Wednesday game, Hunter Goodman of the Colorado Rockies hit a ninth-inning two-run homer to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-5. Goodman, leading with 24 home runs, also homered the previous day. Mickey Moniak and Kyle Karros contributed significantly for Colorado. For St. Louis, Alec Burleson and Lars Nootbaar homered, and Braxton Fulford drove in two runs. Victor Vodnik secured his fourth save.
