Nick Martinez pitched seven strong innings, and Noelvi Marte doubled three times as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates 2-1, ending a three-game losing streak. Marte drove in one run and scored another. Martinez allowed one run on four hits and two walks, striking out four. Emilio Pagán secured his 25th save. Marte's doubles were crucial in tying the game and scoring the winning run.
