Aleksey Miranchuk's late goal secured a 1-1 draw for Atlanta United against CF Montreal. In the 87th minute, Miranchuk scored from a corner, disrupting the Montreal penalty area. Dante Sealy had scored for Montreal in the 40th minute. Atlanta had chances to win in stoppage time but hit the crossbar. Montreal goalkeeper Thomas Gillier made crucial saves in the early stages. Both teams had spells of possession in the second half.
