Miyu Yamashita of Japan won her first major title at the Women’s British Open, finishing with a 2-under 70 for a two-shot victory over Charley Hull and Minami Katsu. Yamashita secured her win with crucial par putts on the back nine. Hull, starting three shots back, closed to within one shot but made bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes, ending with a 69.
