💨 Abstract
Boston Red Sox pitcher Tanner Houck will undergo Tommy John surgery, ending his 2025 season. The 29-year-old, an All-Star in 2024, was placed on the injured list with a right flexor strain in May. Houck struggled this season after a strong 2024 campaign. He is the third Boston pitcher to suffer a season-ending injury. The team acquired Dustin May from the Dodgers to strengthen their pitching staff.
