💨 Abstract
During a Padres-Red Sox game, Manny Machado attempted a hidden-ball trick against Boston. However, umpire Scott Barry called a balk because the pitcher, Wandy Peralta, was on the mound, making the trick illegal. This allowed Boston's Jarren Duran to score, putting the Red Sox ahead 2-1. Despite the setback, the Padres managed to tie and then take the lead later in the game.
