💨 Abstract
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is providing free training to 500 individuals in honor of International Safe Sport Day. The "SafeSport Trained Course" focuses on recognizing vulnerabilities to abuse in athletes and reporting misconduct. Originally established to tackle sex abuse in U.S. Olympic sports, the Denver-based center receives over $2 million annually in federal grants for their training programs and certification courses for coaches and administrators in youth sports.
