During an Under-20 World Cup women’s water polo match in Salvador, Brazil, shots were fired near the venue, causing a brief interruption. Players from China and Canada took cover, but there were no injuries. The incident was attributed to a police confrontation with an alleged thief outside the venue. The match resumed after a minute, with China leading 3-2 at the time of the interruption.
