The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 in a shootout on Sunday. Andrei Svechnikov scored the decisive goal in the shootout, while William Carrier and Taylor Hall scored in regulation for Carolina. Brandon Bussi made 24 saves for his ninth straight win. Trevor Zegras and Jamie Drysdale scored for Philadelphia. The Hurricanes have won four straight games, including three in shootouts.
